Eftel promotes the view that customers need to take a proactive approach to controlling their expenditure on Internet and telephony services.

Eftel customers are provided access to an online customer portal which provides many features, including:

  • 1) The ability to monitor Internet data usage and unbilled telephone calls.
  • 2) The ability to upgrade or downgrade services in line with individual usage requirements and/or expenditure budget.

In addition to the customer portal, a Call Barring add-on facility is available for telephony services. This feature provides customers with the power to block outgoing calls to particular types of numbers such as mobile numbers, international numbers and 1900 numbers. There is a cost attached to using this service and customers should refer to the current price list.
